Earlier this week the Coronavirus was declared a global emergency by the World Health Organization, as the outbreak continues to spread outside China.
A few cases have been confirmed in Australia with the most at risk among us being children and the elderly. Face masks have been flying off the shelves and some areas have run out.
To help protect as many people as possible from contracting the virus, we are giving away masks we have in stock to people struggling to find them or who cannot afford them at this time due to financial hardship.
We can offer a maximum of 2 masks per person. They can be collected from either of our practices at Brighton or Gumdale. If you are from an area where masks have run out, please contact us at email@example.com so we can discuss how to get your masks to you. We are also happy to discuss with community groups or organisations if you require more.
We encourage other dental practices and pharmacies who have extra masks in stock to create similar campaigns so we can protect as many as we possibly can. Please sign up for a free mask and we will let you know if we still have any left for you to come over and pick it up. You’ll receive a confirmation email with some more detail about your request.
